– On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at approximately 10:08 a.m., the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a residence on the 2000 block of Sheridan Avenue for a report of an unresponsive female. Officers arrived and located the unresponsive victim, identified as Christina Burdette, 34, from Atlantic City inside the residence. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced Burdette deceased on scene. The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy on Burdette. The manner of death was determined to be a homicide. The cause of death is still under investigation.
