The Boardwalk will be closed from Surrey Avenue to the fishing pier access ramp starting Nov. 3 for a $7.1 million reconstruction project, according to the city.The project includes the demolition and reconstruction of Boardwalk structure, pavilions, street end ramps, railing and lighting between Jackson and Cambridge avenues, according to the city.And the Press of Atlantic City says the work will be done in two phases. The second phase will run from Suffolk to Jackson avenues and is expected to start next fall.
