Levinson Warns of Disruptions for 32,000 Atlantic County SNAP Customers

Nearly 32,000 low-income Atlantic County adults and children may not receive their monthly funds for groceries through the New Jersey Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (NJ SNAP) as a result of the federal government shutdown, according to County Executive Dennis Levinson. Levinson noted that the Atlantic County Department of Family & Community Development began sharing this news with SNAP customers last week to help them prepare for the potential delay or lack of November benefits.
