25 year old Seth Car from Pleasantville pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree
aggravated assault. On April 17, Pleasantville Police Department officers responded to a residence on
Ridgewood Avenue in reference to a domestic assault. Police spoke with the victim, who advised
that Carr strangled her until she began to lose consciousness. Carr also punched the victim
repeatedly, causing Carr to break his own hand during the assault.
On May 16, 2025, Pleasantville Police Department officers returned to the aforementioned
residence in reference to an additional domestic assault. The victim advised police that Carr threw her on the floor and repeatedly slammed her head into the floor. Carr was arrested on scene.
