A proposed outdoor gym and bar next to the Showboat Resort Atlantic City will not be happening, according to developer Bart Blatstein’s company. The Press of Atlantic City reports Brandon Dixon, president of Tower Investments, said Thursday the gym project, which was largely built and awaiting permission from a state agency to open, is being re-thought, and some issues with permitting arose that they didn’t expect.
