Redevelopment Could Mean End Of Renaissance Plaza Liquor Store, Says Mayor

The liquor store at Renaissance Plaza could close as part of a plan to redevelop the site, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said during Tuesday night’s debate. According to the Press of Atlantic City, Small mentioned the plan when answering a question about food insecurity, and whether a loitering issue outside the plaza deters people from shopping there. As part of a redevelopment plan for the plaza, a new grocery store operator will be brought in, officials have said.
