An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to trying to disarm a police officer who tried to arrest him following a burglary. 39 year old Jerome Younger faces a five-year prison sentence in the Sept. 6, 2024 incident, reports BreakingAC.com.
The homeowner was inside when Younger came banging on her door and then broke down her door, according to the original charges. When police arrived, Younger walked up to Officer Keith Jordan, grabbed his vest and pushed the officer to the ground, Jordan wrote in the affidavit. The officer was able to get control, but Younger continued to flail and strike officers as they tried to arrest him. Younger was brought under control with a taser.
