According to the Press of Atlantic City a 17-year-old boy has been charged in the murder of his mother, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Sunday.Police say Julissa Serrano, 49, of Mays Landing, was stabbed several times. When Hamilton Township police arrived to the Meadowbrook Condos, they found the suspect, whose name was not released by the Prosecutor’s Office, in possession of a knife.Serrano was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division where she died from her injuries. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
