Cape May’s neighboring communities may soon pay more for police services, as negotiations continue on a new shared service agreement.Cape May police have patroled West Cape May and Cape May Point under an agreement that began after West Cape May dissolved its own department in 2002.Officials in both boroughs said Cape May’s department provides excellent police services. Cape May officials want those towns to pay a larger share of the total cost of the department.
