Three Atlantic County school districts are among 86 schools those receiving state grants to support an initiative to keep students in sixth through 12th grade device-free during school hours. BreakingAC.com reports
Absecon, Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville will receive financial help toward implementation of a bell-to-bell policy, which makes sure students’ cell phones and other internet-enabled devices are securely stored when students arrive and school, with them not allowed access throughout the school day. Egg Harbor Township will receive $32,513,74, Pleasantville gets $15,220.18 and Absecon $2,499.80.
