Defense Rests In Small Case

The defense rested Monday morning in the child abuse trial of Atlantic City’s mayor. BreakingAC.com reports more than 40 people took the stand to testify to Marty Small’s character over two days. Among those who testified Monday were retired Atlantic City Police Chief Henry White, former Stockton University President Harvey Kesselman, prominent attorney Lloyd Levenson and the Rev. Collins Days, whose daughter also is charged in connection with the case. Small is accused of abusing his daughter and then trying to get her to change her story.
