Lower Township is adding five new pickleball courts, which will give the township seven regulation pickleball courts in addition to a number of tennis courts lined for pickleball.Township Manager Mike Laffey said there is some difference between tennis and pickleball nets. Online sources say that, besides being sized for a smaller court, pickleball nets are two inches shorter in the center and six inches shorter at the posts.
