Weapons charges face two men from Atlantic County after a traffic stop in Mays Landing on Friday afternoon. According to Hamilton Township Police, a vehicle was stopped near McDonald’s in the Festival Mall on the Black Horse Pike. Two men inside were found to have a large amount of money and a search of the vehicle turned up a semi-automatic handgun loaded with hollow-point ammunition. The occupants, 21-year-old Jeremiah Doucet of Mays Landing and 19-year-old Jesus Davila of Atlantic City, were both taken into custody without incident, and face possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of hollow-point bullets.
