A sink hole Sunday closed a Northfield road. Shore Road is closed in all directions at Zion Road. The closure could last until Tuesday, police said. Drivers are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. Also, in Hammonton, a single lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in effect along 14th Street at the Penny Pot crossing, between Blue Anchor Road and North Second Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
