The trial of Atlantic City’s mayor may not start until next week. According to BreakingAC.com, the second day of jury selection in the trial of Mayor Marty Small ended with both sides having exhausted a pool of 177 Atlantic County residents without a panel in place. Another 55 residents will be brought in Thursday. Small faces charges that include aggravated assault, terroristic threats and witness tampering in connection with alleged abuse of his teenage daughter. The state and defense need to seat 14 jurors — the necessary 12 plus two alternates.
