Brigantine Dredging

A $1.8 million dredging project in the Brigantine Channel Spur is set to begin this week, the state Department of Transportation said.Pennsylvania-based Mobile Dredging and Video Pipe will dredge the channel to five feet below mean low water, the department said Tuesday in a news release. The daytime project is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, the department said. The channel will remain open throughout the project, though boaters may be affected.
