A bill to give the state new power over Atlantic City’s major decision-making is likely to advance this morning in the state Legislature, and appears on track to receive final legislative approval next week.The bill would replace a previous state takeover law that expired Dec. 1.It is due to be heard in the Assembly Appropriations Committee in Trenton.The bill has already been approved by the full Senate.
