Delaware Woman Charged In Ventnor Hit And Run Crash

A Delaware woman has been arrested in a hit-and-run that left a 92-year-old Ventnor pedestrian seriously injured. BreakingAC.com reports Leslie Myers is reportedly shown on video surveillance speeding before striking the victim, who landed on the hood of her vehicle. The pedestrian, whose name was not released, used the crosswalk at Newport Avenue to walk across Ventnor Avenue toward his parked vehicle, surveillance video taken from Bloom’s Liquor Store shows. Myers’ vehicle is seen heading west on Ventnor Avenue at a high rate of speed, the affidavit states. She does not brake or even slow down. Once the vehicle strikes the man, it veers into oncoming lane and continues west.
