The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace is being placed under the newly formed Airspace Modernization Office as part of a reorganization of the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew said Tuesday. And the Press of Atlantic City reports “This is a big deal, and it is something I have been pushing for a long time,” Van Drew said in a statement. “For years, I have been working to make sure the FAA modernizes how it operates and fully uses the expertise at the FAA Technical Center right here in South Jersey.
