Murder Conviction

A Philadelphia man was convicted Wednesday of killing a man following an argument in Atlantic City in 2023, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said. Jamar Jones, 37, was found guilty of murder, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose and possession of a handgun without a permit in the shooting death of Luis Rosa-Rodriguez. And the Press of Atlantic City reports Superior Court Judge Pamela D’Arcy then found him guilty of certain persons not to possess weapons. Jones is scheduled to be sentenced March 26.
