Atlantic City Electric will be performing utility upgrades along Corson Tavern Road (CR 628) in Dennis Township as part of a larger resiliency upgrade to their facilities within Middle and Dennis Townships. The work will include the replacement of the existing timber electric poles with new steel poles founded on caissons. The construction operation will require the use of cranes and drilling rigs to perform the pole installations. The extent of the upgrades impacting Corson’s Tavern Road will be from Woodbine Oceanview Road (CR 550) to Kings Highway (CR 608). The initial phase of work will occur between Woodbine Oceanview Road and Main Street (CR 668). Work is scheduled to begin on January 19, 2026.
