The City Council of Ocean City has hired an attorney with specialization in the state’s redevelopment laws to advise the council on the approval process for a redevelopment plan for the Wonderland site.The council on Jan. 22 retained John A. Ridgway, a Linwood attorney, at $200 per hour as a special legal counsel to the governing body.The hiring takes the council further down the path of a separate redevelopment zone for the Sixth Street at the boardwalk site.
