Nearly 6,600 customers still were without power Wednesday, according to Atlantic City Electric’s numbers. BreakingAC.com reports more than 1,100 field personnel are dedicated to the restoration efforts for more than 112,000 Atlantic City Electric customers who experienced service interruptions during the storm, the company said in a news release. Cape May County topped the list of outages ith 2,677 customers. Atlantic County had 1,846 without power. The company originally had given Saturday as the likely return time for the most serious areas, but Tuesday said it looked like Friday for those most severely impacted.
