37 year old Rashid Hamilton from Atlantic City, has pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun and third-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. On August 16, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers observed Hamilton display a clear bag
containing cocaine to another male in the area of S. Kentucky Avenue. Hamilton was arrested, and
police discovered he was in possession of over nine grams of cocaine as well as a handgun.
Hamilton was detained following a detention hearing on August 20, 2025.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 26, 2026.
