Based on preliminary vote totals from Tuesday’s bond referendum, the Egg Harbor Township school system will be able to proceed with enhancements to six nearby schools.The $36 million bond referendum was approved by a vote of 1,471 to 857, according to unofficial totals from the Atlantic County Clerk’s Office.According to official records, 37,520 people were registered to vote in the township as of the general election last year.
