Despite public feedback encouraging the Upper Township Committee to take frequent cannabis use’s health hazards into account, the committee has approved the township’s first cannabis retail business.The committee enacted three laws on February 25 but had little to say about them, with the exception of Mayor Curtis Corson. Some community members also objected to the usual meeting being rescheduled from February 23 because of the winter storm.
