In a letter to the public, Ocean City City Council President Kevin Barnes stated that the Board of Education has completed the initial screening of applicants for the position of school superintendent and will hold a first round of interviews the week of March 9.Barnes stated that the board anticipates having chosen a candidate and started contract negotiations by the end of March or early April, and that a second round of interviews would take place the following week.
