The Sea Isle City Council has introduced its 2026 general fund budget, which calls for a 1.7% increase in the local purpose tax rate.The $34.5 million budget is accompanied by a water and sewer utility budget of $10.5 million, which represents a 1.4% increase over 2025.The owner of an average-assessed home in the city at $750,000 will pay an additional $55 in the local purpose tax if the budget is adopted. The water and sewer rate will remain the same; Sea Isle has not raised that rate for 13 consecutive years.
