According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, a 33-year-old Somers Point man was given an eight-year jail sentence on Tuesday for theft, firearms possession, and resisting arrest.For a minimum of three and a half years, Dennis Page II will not be eligible for parole.State Police began looking into a money laundering conspiracy using stolen checks in Atlantic County in February 2022. According to a news release from the Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, Page was discovered to have participated in that plan by depositing bogus checks into his bank account prior to making financial transfers.
