Egg Harbor Township fire companies battled a rooftop blaze at the ShopRite on Saturday. According to BreakingAC.com, members from the Cardiff and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire companies were called to the English Creek Avenue store at about 4:10 p.m., for reports of heavy black smoke and flames coming from the roof. Crews worked for about two hours to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
