State Sen. Vince Polistina says the city needs to remain under state supervision for another 10 years, and is drafting legislation to extend the state takeover law for another decade.Polistina, R-Atlantic, said Thursday he is working with the Office of Legislative Services to draft legislation renewing the Municipal Stabilization and Recovery Act.The 2016 law grants the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs authority over Atlantic City’s major decision-making. It is due to expire in December.
