The arrests of four men in a high-end car burglary ring last month included the theft of a Mercedes in Ventnor, the state Attorney General’s Office said Friday. According to the Press of Atlantic City Tyree Payton, 25, of Clementon, Camden County; Israel Ortiz, 23, of Sewell, Gloucester County; Sakie Smith, 30, of Philadelphia; and Jeremiah Lugo, 19, of Clementon, were indicted Oct. 22 on 61 charges including home invasion burglary, conspiracy, auto theft, receiving stolen motor vehicles, burglary and credit card theft.From March 15 to May 23, the suspects allegedly stole 11 vehicles and attempted to steal four others, the Attorney General’s Office said in a news release.
