Atlantic City’s new solar project could mean energy savings for residents without the need to install panels. According to BreakingAC.com, city council awarded a community solar contract to HESP Solar at its meeting earlier this month. The Bergen County-based company will install solar canopies in the City Hall parking lot on Arctic Avenue and the Public Works Complex on Albany Avenue. The move also brings a Community Solar initiative to the city. These programs allows residents to get a benefits without installing solar panels on their own homes.
