Roosevelt Boulevard Reconstruction Starts Wednesday Night

Cape May County will begin reconstructing the Roosevelt Boulevard-34th Street entryway into Ocean City on Wednesday night. OCNJDaily reports the work zone will extend from the 34th Street Bridge to West Avenue.
Traffic will be maintained at all times during construction and businesses will remain accessible. However, travel times will be lengthened through the work zone and motorists should expect delays. The reconstruction project is expected to extend over the winter and spring months with completion scheduled for the third week of May 2026. The Roosevelt Boulevard-34th Street corridor is being elevated and improved to protect it from flooding.
