An Egg Harbor City man who was sentenced to 50 years in prison for shooting his father in Atlantic City and stabbing a Good Samaritan could wind up with less time, and fewer convictions. According to BreakingAC.com,
Robert Harrell, now 38, is currently in New Jersey State Prison, following a 2021 conviction for multiple crimes including the attempted murder of his father and stabbing of a man during a separate incident. But an appellate court recently overturned all but the attempted murder conviction, along with the decision to sentence him to an extended term in the attack on his father.
