Officials in West Cape May and Cape May have approved a new six-year agreement for police services to include a cost increase as Cape May changes how the costs are calculated.And according to the Press of Atlantic City“It’s a big increase,” Cape May City Manager Paul Dietrich acknowledged before the vote, in excess of the increases of several percent expected with inflation.Cape May provides police service to West Cape May, an arrangement continued in the agreement, as well as to Cape May Point under a separate contract.
