Demolition of the defunct El Dorado Motel on Route 47 in Dennis Township will occur shortly. County commissioners approved a $57,300 contract at their Tuesday, Oct. 24, meeting with Pineland Construction LLC, of Sea Isle City, to level the structure. The Cape May County Herald reports there were six bidders for the job, with Pinelands Construction deemed the lowest responsive bid. It called for the work to commence last week.
