In Hamilton Township Transportation officials hope a new electronic toll system on the Atlantic City Expressway will help make the road safer for motorists. Officials turned the first shovefuls of dirt and held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday at the site of a new archway at the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza as part of a nearly $80 million all-electric tolling project meant to improve traffic flow and limit crashes.
