The Pickeball craze has come to the Showboat Hotel opening the resort’s first indoor pickleball court Thursday.City officials, local leaders and others cut the ribbon on the Showboat’s pickleball court, which is located next to the Island Waterpark’s entrance and new Island Bar.”I was turned on to the sport over a year ago, and I can’t believe the outpouring of support, and how many people just want to play pickleball because it’s easy,” said Bart Blatstein, the owner of the Showboat Hotel and CEO of Philadelphia-based Tower Investments.
