On Monday, January 1, 2024, members of the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit responded to two separate locations in Atlantic City for the report of a deceased male at
both locations.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., Atlantic City Police responded to a 911 call regarding a
male bleeding in the unit block of S. California Avenue. The male, later identified as
Vincent O’Brien, III, 50, was transported to the Atlantic City Regional Medical Center
where he succumbed to his wounds.
At approximately 7:34 a.m., Atlantic City Police responded to a 911 call at Michigan
Avenue and the boardwalk regarding a male with multiple stab wounds. The male, later
identified as Nazir Cintron, 22, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Autopsies are pending for both cases.
