The Atlantic City Police Department is seeking to hire candidates for the position of police officer.
Applicants need to be certified police officers eligible through the alternative process or intergovernmental transfer, alternative route certified, or Special Law Enforcement Officer, Class II waiver eligible.
The 2024 salary for any applicant that is currently in a police academy is $40,000.00. If already a certified police officer (not needing police academy training), the starting salary is $53,300.00.
