The Atlantic County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday postponed a planned vote on a resolution opposing a new map of roads where motor vehicles may be driven in Wharton State Forest. According to the Press of Atlantic City the Wharton State Forest Visiting Vehicle Use Map, proposed in January after a long process of taking public input, “denies access to areas of Wharton State Forest that have traditionally and historically been used and enjoyed by local citizens and tourists,” according to the resolution sponsored by Commissioner James Bertino, of Hammonton.
