AC Board Of Education Takes No Action Against Superintendent In Meeting

Atlantic City’s Board of Education again took no action against Superintendent La’Quetta Small following a second special meeting in as many weeks to discuss “personnel matters.” According to the Press of Atlantic City, after over an hour in executive session, the meeting was adjourned and board President Shay Steele quickly left the room, declining to comment.
The meeting came a week after the board invoked the doctrine of necessity, allowing all board members to participate in decisions regarding Small despite conflicts of interest.
