An Atlantic County petit jury found 41 year old Oscar Oberlino Gomez Miralda of Atlantic City, NJ, guilty of aggravated sexual
assault and endangering the welfare of a child by sexual conduct. The jury found that the defendant committed an act of sexual penetration upon a child on December 25, 2022, at the juvenile’s home in Atlantic City. The assault was discovered
by the girl’s mother, who utilized a camera phone to record her daughter’s bedroom while the
mother was at work. The defendant faces between twenty-five years without parole to life when sentenced in September.
