A detour is in place through this afternoon on English Creek Avenue between School House Lane and Zion Road for drainage improvements, Atlantic County officials said. The detour route, runs from Ocean Heights Avenue to Zion, said the county said in a news release. Local traffic can enter the work zone at Ocean Heights and travel toward the closure point, south of School House, county officials said.
