A golf cart collision during an impaired driving demonstration for National Night Out, left five people injured Tuesday night a in Wildwood. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the department offered a simulated impaired-operator low-speed golf cart course at the event, and during one of the operations, the cart, which was operated by the juvenile and a city police officer, went off course and hit multiple people. Four adults and a juvenile were transported to Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional for their injuries. Three of those were treated and released, while two others remain at the hospital, police said.
