In Millville the school district is warning the public about a fake fundraiser in which individuals are asking for donations to help the Lakeside Middle School basketball summer league team purchase new equipment. A letter sent to several community members indicates the athletes were challenged to raise funds, and the team that raises the most wouldn’t have to pay for their games for a week, according to a Facebook post.
