Atlantic City Police wrapped up a four-month investigation into the possession of illegal firearms recovering four handguns. Back in May, three 17-year-old males were charged with weapons offenses. One male was already lodged in Harborfields Detention Facility on an unrelated matter and served with his charges.
A second male was arrested on September 13 after arriving at his school in Galloway. Tuesday, the final suspect was arrested along with two other males when they were observed at the scene of a shooting investigation in the 4000 block of Ventnor Avenue. One of the males was found in possession of a loaded handgun. The other male, Sincere Chapman, was in possession of more than 110 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.
