The Atlantic City Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash involving a child.
On October 4, 2024, at 5:48 PM, patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Fairmount Avenue in reference to a child struck by a motor vehicle. The child, 5, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was flown by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. The driver remained on scene and was not injured.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is assisting in this investigation.
