A dozen Atlantic County jail inmates are facing assault charges after they allegedly beat another inmate unconscious during a fight in late June, according to court documents. According to the Press of Atlantic City, the victim, who wasn’t identified, was attacked June 28 in the jail’s G-right pod, according to the affidavit of probable cause. Surveillance video of the attack showed the men kicking and hitting the victim.
